Archiving

Archiving old Tasks and Corrective Actions is built into Affytrac, accessible to Administrators via the Admin > Archive menu.

When archiving is enabled, a monthly scheduled process (on the 15th of each month) will flag old Tasks and Corrective Actions as "Archived," making them invisible to the normal Task and Corrective Action views.

Enabling Archiving

Archiving can be enabled on the Archive Settings.

You can select a threshold of 2, 3 or 4 years, so items older than the threshold will be automatically archived.

Archive schedule

When Archiving is enabled, archiving will occur on the 15th of each month. A summary of archive activity will be visible in the admin/Archive section.

Viewing Archived items

Archived items can be browsed in the Admin/Archive section and are optionally visible when searching.
